Frequently Asked Questions

What are bitter substances?

Bitter substances occur naturally in plants. Since the bitter taste is not particularly popular with most people, it has been largely bred out of fruits and vegetables.

What are bitter substances good for?

Bitter substances are used effectively in naturopathy to treat digestive problems, headaches, or food cravings.

When do I use the bitter spray?

Spray two sprays under your tongue each morning and evening. Ideally, about 30 minutes before eating.

What does the bitter spray taste like?

The bitter spray has a slightly bitter taste, which is well neutralized by a sweet hint of aronia.

What does vitamin B12 contribute to?

Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy metabolism, the normal function of the immune system, and normal psychological function. Vitamin B12 also plays a role in cell division.

For whom is vitamin B12 supplementation particularly recommended?

The human body cannot produce vitamin B12 itself and must obtain it through food. Animal products are good sources of vitamin B12. Plant-based foods only contain trace amounts of vitamin B12 – according to current knowledge, these are not sufficient to meet daily vitamin B12 requirements. Therefore, supplementation is especially recommended for people who eat a predominantly plant-based diet. A vitamin B12 blood test can also determine whether a deficiency exists.

Which herbs contain the bitter substances?

The bitter substances were obtained from yarrow herb, centaury, anise, fennel, blackberry leaves, cornflower blossoms and lemongrass.

Where is the bitter spray made?

Our bitter spray is manufactured in Germany under strict quality standards.

Is the packaging sustainable?

Of course! Natural medicine and sustainability go hand in hand. We ship our goods in sustainable boxes made of grass paper. Grass has a significantly better environmental footprint than conventional virgin fiber pulp:

- Rapidly renewable raw material
- Significantly less water and energy consumption
- Significantly lower CO2 emissions
- Conservation of wood resources
- No use of land from the feed industry

How long does shipping take?

The order will be processed as quickly as possible and forwarded to the shipping service provider (DHL in Germany). Shipping typically takes 2 to 5 business days. Once the order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, we have no influence over the delivery process.
