Fruity porridge

Ingredients:
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 cup plant-based milk (e.g. almond milk or soy milk)
1/2 cup fresh fruit (e.g. berries, banana, apple)
1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

preparation
Step 1: Heat the oatmeal and plant-based milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
Step 2: Simmer while stirring constantly until the oat flakes are soft and form a thick porridge with the milk.
Step 3: Stir in the fresh fruit and optionally the honey or maple syrup.
Step 4 : Serve and enjoy.
