Süße Mandeln aus dem Mittelmeerraum sind der Rohstoff für dieses wertvolle Öl. Es eignet sich besonders als Massageöl, da es nur langsam in die Haut einzieht und somit optimale Gleiteigenschaft gegeben sind. Das Mandelöl kann auch in der Küche verwendet werden. Wir empfehlen hierbei, um die wertvollen Inhaltsstoffe zu schonen, das Öl nur in der kalten Küche einzusetzen. Unser Mandelöl wird ausschließlich aus süßen Mandeln in Deutschland kalt gepresst und abgefüllt.

Um die Umwelt zu schonen, wurde das Öl in eine Glasflasche abgefüllt. Die Verpackung besteht aus nachhaltigem Graspapier mit einem Anteil von 35 % Gras und 65 % Altpapier.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a traditional Indian medical system dating back over 5,000 years, with a holistic approach to human health. "Ayus" literally means life, and "Veda" means knowledge. Ayurveda is therefore the knowledge of life.

What is the Dinacharya?

In Ayurveda, the day begins with Dinacharya, the so-called morning routine. This includes various rituals that, according to Ayurveda, have a positive effect on the body and mind.

When do I perform the Abhyanga oil massage?

The oil massage is performed in the morning after showering for 5-10 minutes.

How does Abhyanga oil massage work?

If you like, you can warm the oil slightly before use. 1. Pour some oil into your hand and start on your legs with firm, stroking movements towards your heart. 2. Then do the same with your arms. 3. On your joints, stomach, buttocks, and chest, make circular movements. Make sure to massage clockwise on your stomach; this promotes digestion. 4. After applying the oil, rest for 15 minutes. Then rinse off the oil film under a warm shower (without soap) and pat your skin dry. You can find more information in the Salufast app.

What does the Abhyanga oil massage do?

The oil massage is intended to have a stimulating, tissue-reducing, restorative and nourishing effect on the body.

For which dosha type is the Abhyanga oil massage recommended?

The oil massage is especially recommended for people with a pronounced Vata and Pitta dosha. However, since everyone carries all three doshas within themselves and the proportions can change, you can also try the oil massage if you have a pronounced Kapha dosha.

How do I find out my dosha type?

In general, no one person has just one dosha type—we always have all three within us. The Salufast app offers a free dosha test to find out which dosha is most pronounced in you. It would be a good idea to take the test four times a year (every three months), for example, to observe how the doshas are present in your life throughout the seasons and whether there are any fundamental changes.

Where is the oil produced?

Our organic almonds from Southern Europe are gently cold-pressed and freshly packaged in Germany.

Is the packaging sustainable?

Of course! Natural medicine and sustainability go hand in hand. We ship our goods in sustainable boxes made of grass paper. Grass has a significantly better environmental footprint than conventional virgin fiber pulp:

How long does shipping take?

The order will be processed as quickly as possible and forwarded to the shipping service provider (DHL in Germany). Shipping typically takes 2 to 5 business days. Once the order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, we have no influence over the delivery process.
